 Hypnotherapy is a natural, gentle, and effective therapeutic process that uses guided relaxation, focused attention, and heightened suggestibility to help you achieve a trance-like state. In this state, your mind is more open to positive suggestions, allowing you to access your inner resources and make beneficial changes in your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. 


It's not about being controlled; it's about being in control. Hypnotherapy isn't mind control or sleep; it's a state of deep relaxation where your awareness is heightened. You can hear everything, and you can choose to accept or reject any suggestions. You can also open your eyes and end the session at any time. 


 Hypnotherapy is completely safe when used in a responsible and professional manner. Nobody has ever been 'stuck' in hypnosis. 

**However, hypnotherapy is unsuitable for people with epilepsy, and those with schizophrenia, or bipolar disorder should check with their consultant before undergoing hypnosis.**


This course is designed to support and empower women through all stages of menopause – perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause. The themes and techniques will be beneficial whether you're just starting to notice changes, are in the thick of it, or are navigating life beyond it and want to find lasting comfort and balance. 


 Each weekly session is approximately 65 to 75 minutes in duration, allowing ample time for the themed discussion, interactive activity, and the dedicated hypnotherapy session. 


You'll need a reliable internet connection, a computer or tablet with a webcam and microphone, and a quiet, comfortable space where you won't be disturbed for the duration of the session, especially for the hypnotherapy part. Headphones are also recommended for the best experience. 


Absolutely! Online hypnotherapy is a safe and convenient alternative to face-to-face sessions. It is just as effective as working together in-person, and follows the same structured approach. It's really useful if you are restricted by time, location, family commitments, or medical conditions, making it accessible to all. 


A systematic review in the Journal of Medical Internet Research (Vol. 14, No. 4) stated that results "indicate that e-therapy seems to be at least equivalent to face-to-face therapy". 


Zoom, provides a safe and secure connection. You'll just need a quiet, comfortable, and private place at home or work to talk and relax - without the need to spend time and money travelling and parking!
