Hypnotherapy is a gentle therapeutic process that uses deep relaxation and focused awareness to help you access the calmer, more resourceful part of your mind. In this state, your brain becomes less reactive and more open to positive change, which can ease symptoms such as hot flushes, anxiety, poor sleep, and emotional overwhelm.
It’s not mind control, and you’re not 'asleep.'
You stay aware, in control, and able to open your eyes or end the session at any time.
Yes. Clinical hypnotherapy is a safe and well-established approach when conducted by a qualified professional. You remain conscious and in control throughout. You won’t get “stuck” in hypnosis.
To protect your wellbeing, hypnotherapy is not suitable for people with epilepsy. If you have a history of schizophrenia or bipolar disorder, please consult with your medical professional before beginning.
I am fully insured, DBS-checked, and trained to deliver hypnosis ethically and responsibly.
Absolutely. Hypnotherapy is highly effective in supporting perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause. The techniques I teach help calm your nervous system, reduce the emotional and physical impact of symptoms, and rebuild your confidence - whether you're just noticing changes or already deep in the journey.
It depends on your symptoms, your goals, and how much change you’re seeking. Many clients experience meaningful shifts in 4–6 sessions, but some choose to continue longer to build skills or prevent relapse. We’ll explore your individual plan during our Free Discovery Call.
Each weekly session lasts around 65–75 minutes, giving plenty of time for discussion, practical tools, and a full hypnotherapy experience without feeling rushed.

Yes. Research shows that online hypnotherapy is just as effective as in-person work. In fact, a systematic review in the Journal of Medical Internet Research found that e-therapy is “at least equivalent” to face-to-face therapy.
Online sessions follow the same structure, offer the same benefits, and often feel more relaxing because you’re in your own safe space.
(And no travel, parking, or rushing across town!)
Online hypnotherapy has become a trusted, mainstream approach, and many women actually prefer it.
While every woman’s experience is unique, many clients report:
These changes typically emerge gradually, but over time they become lasting patterns rather than short-term relief.
Yes! Hypnotherapy is a complementary tool. Many women use it alongside HRT, supplements, or medical interventions. Hypnotherapy doesn’t interfere with medications, but always check with your medical provider when combining new treatments to ensure they work together safely.
